ECONOMICS OF LAW: COMPETITION, REGULATION, DAMAGES
Created in 1995, TERA Consultants specialises in economic and technical-economic expertise in France and worldwide, and is a recognised leader in sector-specific regulation, especially in Telecommunications and Media.
TERA Consultants has kept close ties with the academic world via its research projects carried out in collaboration with French universities. TERA has sponsored several doctoral candidates who have finished and successfully defended their thesis. All TERA-sponsored doctoral theses pertain to economic sciences. Various types of collaboration with TERA are possible: CIFRE, doctoral grants or scholarships financed by TERA, hosting a candidate with a scholarship, etc.

The project thesis is directly related to TERA Consultants’ areas of expertise and will be headed by Professor Laurent BENZONI (University Paris 2, or Telecom ParisTech).
Research mainly takes place at TERA’s offices, where the candidate will have daily high-level supervision and contacts, as well as access to the material and technical needs to carry out research (computer with Internet access, economic tools, software, databases, methodologies).

The candidate will participate in his/her Doctoral school activities as well as the research centre’s conferences.
TERA strives to provide the material means as well as methodological supervision, so that the research project can be carried out in the best conditions and in the given time framework.

Our offices are based in the center of Paris in the 2nd arrondissement.
- 3Profile
Engineer from a leading school with an economic background, either during your engineering courses or a Masters 2 in economics. The thesis project will be jointly drafted by the candidate, the thesis director (Professor Laurent Benzoni), the candidate’s manager at TERA Consultants as well as the manager heading the candidate at his university’s laboratory.
